Real American Places: Edward Weston & Leaves of Grass

Oct 22, 2016 - Mar 20, 2017

Scott Galleries, Chandler Wing

This exhibition showcases a rich dialogue between two iconic figures in American culture: the renowned photographer Edward Weston (1886–1958) and poet Walt Whitman (1819–1892). The gallery highlights the travel accomplished by Weston and his wife during their cross-country tour. The photographs capture the beauty of rural America.
