Trinity River Guides is a flyfishing outfitter in Northern California. One of their guides (who happens to take my husband flyfishing yearly) contacted me looking for an update to their outdated logo. The logo needed to communicate clearly in both black and white as well as color, and the outfitters had very specific requests: show the flyline; reference the mountains along the Trinity River; show a specific type of drift boat.

 

I created the new logo by hand-drawing on top of a reference image supplied as inspiration by the client, then manipulating the line art in Illustrator.
